Information We Collect

- Your email address for account creation, subscription management, and Google OAuth authentication
- Email templates you create and customize
- Extension settings and preferences
Information Accessed Temporarily
- Load details from the DAT Loadboard page (origin, destination, rate, weight, dates) — used only to populate your email templates and never stored or transmitted to our servers
How We Use Your Information
- To send emails on your behalf via the Gmail API when you click the email button on a load listing
- To verify your subscription status so the extension can function
- To process your subscription and billing through Stripe
- To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries
Google API Services User Data Policy
dispatchGo uses the Gmail API to send emails on your behalf when you click the email button on a DAT load listing. This requires the gmail.send OAuth scope.
dispatchGo's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically: we only use the Gmail API to send emails you explicitly initiate. We do not read, store, or analyze your email content or contact lists. OAuth tokens are stored securely in Chrome's storage API and are never transmitted to our servers.
Data Storage and Security
Local Storage
Your email templates, extension settings, and OAuth tokens are stored locally on your device using Chrome's secure storage API. This data never leaves your computer.
Payment Security
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We neither access nor store your payment information. Your financial data is secure with Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure.
Data Transmission
All communication between the extension and our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS. The only data transmitted to our server is your email address for subscription verification.
Chrome Extension Permissions
Our extension requires the following permissions to function properly:
Access to DAT Loadboard
Required to add email buttons to the DAT interface and temporarily read load information to populate your email templates.
Google Identity (OAuth)
Required to authenticate with your Google account and send emails via the Gmail API on your behalf when you click the email button.
Storage Permission
Used to save your email templates, extension settings, and cached subscription status locally on your device.
Alarms Permission
Used to periodically refresh your subscription status in the background so the extension stays up to date.
What We Don't Do
- ✓We do not collect or store load information from DAT
- ✓We do not track your browsing activity or keystrokes
- ✓We do not sell your personal information to third parties
- ✓We do not read, store, or analyze your emails or contact lists
- ✓We do not send emails without your explicit action (clicking the email button)
Data Retention
We retain your account email and subscription data only as long as necessary to deliver our services. If you cancel your subscription and request deletion, we will remove your data from our servers. Your locally stored templates and settings are under your control and can be removed by uninstalling the extension.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access and review the personal information we have about you
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Revoke Google OAuth access at any time through your Google Account settings
- Export your data in a portable format
